Luis Palma Celtic Newcomer Makes Honest Admission

Luis Palma: Celtic newcomer makes honest admission

New arrival Luis Palma says he is not frustrated by his lack of playing time at Celtic, as he hailed the form of his teammates.

The 22-year-old Honduras international joined the Scottish Premiership champions in the summer from Vida and has been restricted to just two substitute appearances so far this season.

However, Palma insists he is not disheartened and is instead focused on learning from the likes of Liel Abada, Kyogo Furuhashi and Jota.

"Of course, I want to play more, but I understand that I am at a big club with a lot of competition," he said.

"I am still young and I am learning every day from the other players."

"The team is playing very well at the moment and I am just happy to be a part of it."

Palma has been impressed with the form of his teammates, who have won their first six league games of the season.

"The team is full of quality players and we are all playing with a lot of confidence," he said.

"We are scoring a lot of goals and we are not conceding many."

"It is great to be a part of such a successful team."

Palma is hoping to get more opportunities to play in the coming weeks and months.

"I am working hard in training and I am just waiting for my chance," he said.

"I am confident that I can make a contribution to the team."
