After a very soft launch on Nov 23 had Australians wondering if they'd see Amazon up and running before Christmas, the company has finally officially launched.
Online behemoth Amazon says its Australian marketplace debut was its biggest launch in the company's history.
US giant Amazon is projected to reach $55 billion in Australian turnover next financial year and will keep thriving as more shoppers seek better value for money.
Amazon has a warehouse in Melbourne but has not yet announced an official Aussie launch date.
